Who Is AR Consulting?
Angela Rouillard (AR) holds a PhD and an MSc in Applied Ethology from the University of Guelph. In addition to writing and editing user-friendly articles and communications, she has managed a variety of projects, both small- and large-scale, over the last 10+ years.
I was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. My love for farming and all things agriculture came from my regular visits to my grandparents' farm as a child. This led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta. It was there that I developed a love of animal behaviour and welfare (applied ethology) and made the move to Guelph to complete my graduate work.
As I prepared to graduate, I realized how much I missed Alberta and began to pursue job opportunities here. I made the move in 2012 with my now-husband and we haven't looked back!
With my extensive knowledge and experience of writing, communication, and project management, I endeavour to help others achieve their personal, business, or organization's goals.
I have worked in both a nonprofit and a for-profit setting in the past and am able to bring this knowledge to the projects that I coordinate and manage.
Additionally, I have worked with a variety of clients in the past through previous job posts. I have acquired audit/assessment skills in addition to my writing and project management abilities.
